Tourist Detail
Allah Wali Jheel

Allah Wali Jheel is located at the far end of Perishing Valley, near the town of Gotamsar, approximately a 45-minute drive from Astore. It is one of the oldest and most renowned tourist spots in Astore Valley. The lake's name is derived from a unique natural phenomenon where the Arabic script for "Allah" appears in the landscape, formed by the river winding through a vast, zigzagging passage surrounded by lush green fields. This remarkable feature is clearly visible when viewed from an elevated position. The surrounding fields, enclosed by towering mountains, provide a picturesque backdrop and offer ample space for recreational activities, making the area not only a spiritual marvel but also a popular destination for sports enthusiasts.
